A man has died after suffering a cardiac arrest in Bexleyheath in the early hours of Bank Holiday Monday.

Emergency Call

Police were called by the London Ambulance Service to reports of a man in cardiac arrest in Broadway, Bexleyheath, at 4.10am on Monday, 25 August.

Despite the efforts of paramedics, a man in his 20s was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigation Underway

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that the man’s death is being treated as unexpected. Detectives have launched an investigation and enquiries remain ongoing.

Appeal for Information

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

A Met Police spokesperson said:

“If you have any information which could assist our investigation, please contact police by calling 101 or post on X @MetCC quoting CAD 1282/25Aug.”

The man has not yet been formally identified. His next of kin are being informed.
