Boy, 15, in Serious Condition After Stabbing in Great Barr

A 15-year-old boy is in hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed in an incident in Great Barr, Birmingham.

Emergency services were called to Turnberry Park, just off Turnberry Road, shortly after 4pm on Monday (March 17) following reports of a stabbing.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said:

“We are in the early stages of our investigation and would urge any witnesses or anyone with information to get in touch with us as soon as possible.”

Officers have confirmed that patrols will be stepped up in the area this evening to provide reassurance to the local community.

The incident has caused concern among residents, with many expressing shock at the violence in what is usually a quiet neighbourhood.

Police have urged anyone who may have seen anything suspicious or has CCTV or dashcam footage from the area around the time of the incident to come forward.
