A young boy has been left with serious injuries following a collision between two cars on Woodmill Lane, Southampton, early Friday morning.
Emergency services responded to the incident, which occurred at approximately 6:50 am. The crash involved a grey Volkswagen Golf and a red Mazda 3.
The four-year-old boy, who was a passenger in the Mazda, sustained a potentially life-changing injury and is currently receiving treatment at a hospital. The driver of the Mazda, a 35-year-old man from Southampton, suffered minor injuries. Additionally, the 31-year-old man from Trowbridge, who was driving the Golf, sustained a serious injury in the collision.
Authorities have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. They are urging anyone who witnessed the collision or has relevant dashcam footage to come forward and assist with the inquiry.
