Coastguard Rescue helicopter and Search and rescue team called into action
The coastguard search and rescue helicopter Rescue 175 from Lee on the Solent has been called to the Isle of Wight this evening to carry out a life saving medical evacuation. The search and rescue helicopter was called just after 10.30pm to St Mary’s hospital this is the second air evacuation of the evening. The experience paramedic has helped to package to the patient for the short journey across the Solent to be met by the Hillhead coastguard search and rescue team. More to follow
