Diane Abbott’s son, James Abbott, has been arrested and charged with assaulting a police officer. The shocking scuffle took place last Friday right outside the Foreign Office in Whitehall, London.
Cambridge Grad Faces Court Over Attack
James, who was sacked from his Embassy job in June, allegedly bit a police officer during the incident. The privately-educated Cambridge graduate has since appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court facing the assault charge.
Bailed Till 2020
The case has now been adjourned. James has been bailed and is due back in court sometime in 2020.
