Extensive Search Along Coastline
They conducted a thorough search all the way to Thorness Bay. The effort was backed up by the Needles Coastguard team, who combed the shoreline. Despite a full-scale sweep, no sign of the paddle boarder was found.
Search Called Off After Fruitless Hunt
At 4pm, HM Coastguard stood down the crew who then returned to base. The search ended with no rescue.
