Four boys, ranging in age from 12 to 14, have been apprehended by Greater Manchester Police on suspicion of rape following an incident reported at Newbold Metrolink station in Rochester, Greater Manchester.
The authorities responded to a call at approximately 6 p.m. on Saturday, which directed them to the location near a Morrisons supermarket. Upon arrival, officers took into custody four suspects, including one 12-year-old, one 13-year-old, and two 14-year-olds, all of whom are currently being held in police custody as the investigation unfolds.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police provided the following statement: “At around 6 p.m. on Saturday, officers were called to reports of a rape in Newbold, Rochdale. Four boys aged 12, 13, 14, 14 have been arrested on suspicion of rape and remain in police custody. The victim is currently being supported by specialist officers.”
