A tragic incident has unfolded in Staffordshire as a man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering two women. The incident occurred in uk/news/uk/tag/Cheadle" target="_blank" rel="noopener" title="Cheadle" link="linked" id="114516">Cheadle, near Stoke-on-Trent, on New Year’s Eve, and authorities are appealing for information from the public.

Police were summoned to a residence on Park Lane in Cheadle at approximately 3 pm following reports that a woman’s body had been discovered, and another woman was found injured. Tragically, both women were pronounced dead at the scene at around 3:50 pm.

The Staffordshire Police swiftly launched an investigation into the incident, resulting in the arrest of a 68-year-old man from Cheadle. The man has been taken into custody on suspicion of two counts of murder.

The local authorities have issued an appeal for anyone who may have information related to the case to come forward. They are particularly interested in speaking with individuals who may possess CCTV footage, smart doorbell recordings, or dashcam footage that could provide valuable insights into the incident.
