The Met Police swooped on a Campbell Road accommodation last Friday night after a man was left with head injuries following an alleged assault by a woman.
Man Assaulted at Supported Living Accommodation
Officers were called to the scene at around 7.30pm on November 21 after reports of an attack at a supported living facility in East London.
A staff member revealed a man suffered head injuries in what’s described as an assault by a 20-year-old woman.
Woman Arrested and Hospitalised After Fall
The woman was arrested on suspicion of assault. However, before police arrived, she reportedly fell and was taken to hospital for treatment.
She was discharged later that same evening and taken into custody.
Bailed as Investigation Continues
The suspect has been released on bail while police carry out further enquiries. The exact supported living establishment involved remains undisclosed.
A Met police spokesperson said: “We were called at 19:35hrs on Friday, 21 November to reports of an assault at supported living accommodation in Campbell Road, E3. Officers responded and carried out further enquiries. A member of staff at the accommodation reported that a man had suffered head injuries after being assaulted by a woman. A 20-year-old woman was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault. She was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries sustained as a result of a fall before officers arrived. She was discharged from hospital later that evening and taken into custody. She has since been bailed while further enquiries take place.”
