A man has been hospitalized after being struck by a Metropolitan Police van on Turnpike Lane, near the junction of Alexandra Road, on Friday, September 6. The collision occurred at approximately 2:30 PM, prompting an immediate response from emergency services.

The pedestrian was quickly transported to a nearby hospital, where his injuries have since been confirmed as non-life-threatening. As of this morning, the Metropolitan Police stated that no officers involved in the incident required medical attention.

Residents and commuters were advised to avoid the area as authorities continued their inquiries. The road has since been reopened, though the investigation remains ongoing.
