Police Seek Assistance in Identifying Suspected Pickpocket Following Incident at Crayford Railway Station

British Transport Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with an attempted pickpocketing incident at Crayford Railway Station.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, January 23, at approximately 7:10 pm, as a woman was leaving the station and heading towards the car park. According to reports, she was approached by a man who allegedly attempted to reach into her jacket.

The woman, upon sensing the man’s actions, promptly pushed him away, prompting the suspect to flee the scene, exiting the car park.

Investigating officers are now turning to the public for assistance in identifying the individual captured in the CCTV image. They believe that he may possess crucial information that could aid in their investigation.
