Public Assistance in Murder Investigation needed by Police

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police are urgently appealing to the public for assistance in locating a man wanted in connection with the murder of Sean O’Neill. The victim, a 30-year-old man, was found with stab injuries in Reynolds Road, Hayes, on May 18, 2023. Despite the efforts of emergency services, he tragically lost his life at the scene.

Detective Inspector Kevin Martin, who is leading the investigation, has identified 22-year-old Dellan Charles as a suspect in Sean’s murder. Charles’s whereabouts remain unknown, and authorities are keen to locate him promptly.

A £10,000 reward has been offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of Dellan Charles. Detective Inspector Martin emphasised the urgency of the situation: “Sean’s family has been left devastated by his murder, and the longer those responsible evade justice, the more their pain grows. We urge anyone with information to come forward immediately.”

A post-mortem examination conducted on May 25, 2023, confirmed that Sean’s death resulted from sharp force trauma to the chest and abdomen. The investigation team is determined to bring those responsible to justice.

If you have any information about Dellan Charles’s whereabouts or the circumstances surrounding Sean O’Neill’s murder, please contact the incident room at 020 8785 8244 or call 101, quoting Operation Aidburrow. Alternatively, you can provide information anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.
