In a profoundly disturbing case that has sent shockwaves through the community, seven individuals convicted of sexually abusing children in Glasgow are now facing the prospect of potential life sentences. This group, consisting of five men and two women, was found guilty in November in what is believed to be Scotland’s most significant prosecution of a child abuse ring.

Given the extreme gravity of the crimes involved, the initial sentencing, originally slated for Thursday, has been postponed until next Tuesday.
