Kent Fire and Rescue Service swung into action on Sunday evening in response to a fire that broke out at a derelict pub located in The Square, Kemsley, Sittingbourne. The incident was reported to authorities at 5.30pm on Sunday.

A rapid response saw five fire engines and a height vehicle dispatched to the scene to address the blaze. Firefighters confronted the fire, which was located on the first floor of the abandoned pub.
