Derelict Pub Goes Up in Flames in Sittingbourne
Kent Fire and Rescue Service raced to the scene of a blazing fire at an abandoned pub in The Square, Kemsley, Sittingbourne, on Sunday evening. The alarm was raised at 5.30pm, sparking a rapid response.
Five Fire Engines Battle Blaze
Five fire crews rushed in to tackle the inferno. Thanks to their quick, well-coordinated efforts, the flames were brought under control before spreading to nearby buildings.
No Injuries Reported
Thankfully, nobody was hurt in the frightening fire. Firefighters worked fast to ensure the blaze posed no threat to the public or surrounding properties.
Investigation Underway as Cause Remains Unknown
The cause of the fire is still a mystery. Kent Police attended the scene to back up firefighters and launch a full investigation into what sparked the blaze.
