17-Year-Old Boy Suffers Serious Injuries in Orchard Village Stabbing
Police have launched an urgent investigation after a 17-year-old boy was stabbed following an altercation on the Orchard Village Estate in Rainham, East London. The incident occurred just after 10:00 AM on Monday, May 26.
According to the Metropolitan Police, the youth sustained a stab wound to the thigh during a confrontation involving a group of young people on Lower Mardyke Avenue.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics and later taken to hospital where he remains. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, but may potentially be life-changing.

At this early stage of the investigation, no arrests have been made. A crime scene is in place while initial enquiries are conducted.”
