Three Arrested After Shocking Double Stabbing in Woodford Green
Violent Incident Rocks Liston Way
Chaos erupted in Woodford Green on Thursday evening when two men were stabbed in a horrific attack just before 6pm on Liston Way. Emergency services rushed to the scene, sending an air ambulance and multiple police units to handle the serious altercation.
Victims Hospitalised but Stable
Two men in their 40s were found with stab wounds and quickly treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital. Thankfully, their injuries are not believed to be life-changing.
Three Men Arrested Over Stabbing
The Metropolitan Police confirmed:
“We were called at around 18:00hrs on Thursday, 7 August to reports of a stabbing in Liston Way, Woodford Green. Two men in their 40s were found with stab wounds. Their injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing. Three men have been arrested in connection with the incident and remain in custody.”
- 46-year-old man – arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm
- 48-year-old man – arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm
- 31-year-old man – arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated public order offence and criminal damage
Police Continue Investigation, Urge Witnesses to Speak Out
Residents reported heavy police presence and road closures around Liston Way following the stabbing. The Met Police are actively investigating and urging anyone with information to come forward.
