Residents of Crayford were left in shock today following the discovery of a man’s body at Barnhurst Golf Course on Perry Street. Despite the best efforts of emergency responders, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The sombre event unfolded despite the concerted efforts of medical professionals who worked tirelessly to save the individual. However, tragically, their efforts were in vain, and the man’s passing was confirmed.
The deceased’s body was later removed from the scene by a private ambulance, further deepening the sense of sadness and concern in the community.
These events have sparked widespread speculation and concern among residents, particularly in light of recent developments. Reports indicate that a post regarding a high-risk missing person was shared on a local Facebook group, raising questions about potential connections between the two incidents.

A Spokesman for the Met Police said:
On the evening of Sunday, 11 February officers were involved in searching for a man who had been reported missing in the Barnehurst area.
The search was assisted by the police helicopter and London Fire Brigade’s drone unit.
On the morning of Monday, 12 February the body of a man was found at Barnehurst Golf Club. His next of kin have been informed.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
