A woman has tragically died after being struck by a car on Blurton Road late Monday morning.

Emergency services, including two ambulances, two paramedic officers, and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford, attended the scene.
Paramedics’ Efforts
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed:
“Upon arrival, we found a woman who was a pedestrian. She had sustained life-threatening injuries.”
Despite the provision of advanced life support and trauma care, paramedics were unable to save the woman, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The spokesperson added:
“No further patients required treatment.”
Police Investigation
Local authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision. Blurton Road was temporarily closed while emergency crews worked at the scene, but it has since been reopened.
