A woman has died after being hit by a car on Blurton Road late Monday morning.
Tragic Crash on Blurton Road
West Midlands Ambulance Service rushed to the scene at around 11:40 AM on November 18, 2024. Two ambulances, two paramedic officers, and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford responded to the emergency.
Paramedics Battle to Save Woman
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said, “Upon arrival, we found a woman who was a pedestrian. She had sustained life-threatening injuries.” Despite advanced life support and trauma care, paramedics were unable to save her. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
“No further patients required treatment,” the spokesman added.
Police Launch Probe
Staffordshire Police have opened an investigation into the crash. Blurton Road was briefly closed but has now reopened.
