Metropolitan Police detectives have charged a man in connection with the murder of a man who was fatally shot in Waltheof Gardens, Tottenham, on Tuesday, 15 October.
The %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_0%%, Mahmut Sahindal, 56, of no fixed address, has been charged with murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life. He has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Highbury Corner %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_1%% today, Thursday, 17 October.
Sahindal was %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_2%% on Tuesday. %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_3%% of gunfire in Waltheof Gardens, N17, and attended the scene with London Ambulance Service. Despite the best efforts of %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_4%%, the victim, who suffered a gunshot wound, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim's family has been informed of the development and %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_5%%.
