Just before midnight on Christmas Eve, a 26-year-old beautician was blasted in the head while celebrating with pals at the Lighthouse Pub in Wallasey Village. The shocking shooting has led to a dramatic court showdown.
Gunman Arrested and Charged
Connor Chapman, 22, of no fixed address, appeared at Wirral Magistrates’ Court charged over the violent attack. He was remanded in custody and is set to face Liverpool Crown Court on Monday.

- Three counts of unlawful and malicious wounding with intent, involving Harry Loughran, Nicholas Speed, and Liam Carr

- Handling stolen goods – specifically a Mercedes A Class car between December 22 and 26

Merseyside Police confirmed they arrested a 23-year-old woman on suspicion of assisting an offender. She has since been released on bail as investigations continue.
