On Saturday 9 December 2023, the Officers were in the High Street area when they saw a rented Toyota Prius travelling through the village.
They suspected the vehicle’s occupant may be involved in the supply of class A drugs and stopped it for the purpose of a search. A quantity of cash was seized from a wallet and nine bags of cocaine were recovered from the centre console. The driver was arrested and taken into custody.
