Police officers in High Street made a bust on Saturday, 9 December 2023, after spotting a suspicious rented Toyota Prius cruising the village.
Drug Haul Found in Stopped Prius
Officers suspected the driver was linked to Class A drug dealing. A search of the vehicle uncovered nine bags of cocaine hidden in the centre console and a stash of cash in the driver’s wallet. The driver was immediately arrested and taken into custody.
Local Man Charged with Drug Supply
Blerim Bushgjokaj, 23, from Ringstead Road, Catford, Greater London, faced charges from West Kent CID for possession of cocaine with intent to supply and driving without insurance. He was remanded in custody and is set to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 11 December.
