It is alleged that during November and December 2023, multiple victims were targeted by a man who engaged them in unwanted conversation and offered money for sex. Some of the victims are reported to have been with children at the time.

Jay Davy, 24, of Tonbridge Road, Maidstone was arrested on Tuesday 19 December and taken into custody. On the following day, he appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court charged with 12 public order offences, involving the use of threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress. He is currently remanded in custody until a hearing at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 27 December.
