An arrest has been made by detectives investigating the sexual assault of a woman in Dover.
Kent Police received a report that after the victim spoke to a man in Market Square, the offence took place on Dover beach in Marine Parade at around 8.30pm on Tuesday 7 November 2023.
As part of their enquiries into the sexual assault, officers made an arrest on Thursday 9 November.
A 47-year-old man from Dover was arrested and has since been released on bail with conditions whilst the investigation continues.
