Kirsty Sleeman, aged 48, of Eugene Cottages, Ashford, was sentenced on 26 January 2022 at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court. She pleaded guilty to driving when above the legal drink-drive limit, in Ashford, on 24 December 2021. When stopped she gave a reading of 85 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. She was disqualified from driving for a total of 22 months and fined £415. She was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £42 and costs of £85.
