Woman in 20s Shot in SE15 – Life-Threatening Injuries
Police rushed to Consort Road, SE15, just before 3am on Sunday, 23 May, after reports of gunshots. Firearms officers and an ambulance were on the scene.
They found a woman in her 20s with a gunshot wound. She remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Major Investigation Underway
The Met’s Specialist Crime Command (Trident) is leading the probe. A heavy police presence blocks several roads nearby as detectives hunt for answers.
No arrests have been made yet.
Detective Chief Inspector Jimi Tele said: “We are all hoping that this young woman’s condition improves. Our investigation is in its early stages and urgent enquiries are under way to establish the circumstances.”
“I would appeal to the residents of Consort Road and the surrounding area to check any doorbell or dashcam footage for any suspicious activity that may relate to this investigation.”
