UPDATED:Major road on Havant housing estate closed following collision
Police have closed Barncroft Way In Havant in both directions near Hazelholt Drive following a serious road traffic collision. Emergency services were called Just before 2pm on Wednesday to the collision involving an overturned vehicle Paramedics from South central ambulance have also been sent to the incident. Police at the scene have said that those involved have escaped from the vehicle without injury. A lorry driver who witnessed the collision said the BMW were travelling way over the speed limit. The BMW went flying past my lorry at an excessive speed. It sounded like an explosion when the crash happened. Let’s hope no one involved is hurt An investigation has been launched to work out how and why the vehicle overturned on a road with a thirty mile an hour speed limit Drivers are being asked to avoid the area and seek an alternative route.
