Havant Road Chaos as BMW Overturns on Barncroft Way
Police have shut both sides of Barncroft Way near Hazelholt Drive after a serious crash involving an overturned BMW. The smash happened just before 2pm on Wednesday, sparking a flurry of emergency calls.
Speeding BMW Blamed for Shocking Overturn
Paramedics from South Central Ambulance raced to the scene. Luckily, police confirmed everyone escaped the wreck without injury. A lorry driver who witnessed the horror said the BMW was tearing past at breakneck speed, well over the 30mph limit.
“The BMW went flying past my lorry at an excessive speed. It sounded like an explosion when it happened,” the driver said.
Investigation Underway, Drivers Told to Avoid Area
Authorities have launched a probe to find out how the BMW overturned on a road strictly limited to 30mph. Drivers are warned to steer clear of Barncroft Way and find alternative routes.
