Teenager Charged Following Attempted Robberies in Sheerness

A man has been arrested and charged in connection with an incident of indecent exposure that occurred in Rochester. The incident took place near City Way at approximately 11:30 am on Thursday, 9th May 2024.

Following the report of the indecent exposure, authorities launched an investigation which resulted in the arrest of a suspect. Additionally, a vehicle was seized, and a subsequent search of an address in Medway led to the recovery of a quantity of cocaine and cannabis.

Ian Hardy, a 43-year-old resident of Boundary Road, Chatham, has been charged with outraging public decency. In addition to this charge, he faces further charges including possession of class A and class B drugs, forging a registration document, driving without a license and insurance, and using a motor vehicle without a valid test certificate.

Mr Hardy is scheduled to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 14th May, where he will face the charges brought against him.
