Man charged over Two Stockwell deaths
A man has been charged with the murder of two people who were found with stab injuries at an address in Stockwell. Daniel Briceno-Garcia, 44 of Dorset Road, SW8 was charged on Thursday, 2 April with two counts of murder. He will appear in custody at Croydon Magistrates’ Court today (Friday, 3 April). Police were called to a residential address in Dorset Road, SW8 at around 4pm on Wednesday, 1 April. Inside the address, officers found a 59-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman suffering stab injuries – both were pronounced dead at the scene. Formal identification awaits; next of kin have been informed. Six people – five men and one woman – were arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder; one man was charged as above; the others have been bailed pending further enquiries.
