The attack occurred on October 25 on First Avenue, where emergency services were called at approximately 5:35 pm. Upon arrival, they found a woman in her 30s, an eight-year-old girl, and a two-year-old boy suffering from stab wounds. The victims were immediately transported to a nearby hospital by London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.

Ram was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder. Police later took him to the hospital after he became unwell, but he was subsequently discharged and placed into police custody. Scotland Yard has confirmed that the victims’ injuries are not life-threatening, and all parties involved are reportedly known to each other.

Detective Superintendent Lewis Basford called the incident a “truly shocking attack” and expressed gratitude to local residents for their cooperation as police conduct their investigation. He added, “At this early stage, we believe those involved were known to each other, and we are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident.”

A crime scene remains in place, and an increased police presence will continue in the area in the coming days. Authorities are urging anyone with information related to the incident to contact police on 101.
