A 34-year-old man, Tyevon Bean, has been charged in connection with a reported rape that occurred in Grimsby in March 2024. The charges include rape, assault of a female by penetration, strangulation, and committing an act with intent to pervert the course of public justice.

Bean, who has no fixed abode, appeared before Hull Magistrates Court on Thursday, June 6. He has been remanded in custody pending further legal proceedings.
