In a swift and decisive operation, Sabajet Shuti, 30, has been charged with murder following his extradition from Sweden. Shuti, was accused in the early hours of Saturday, October 21, for the murder of Zeqja Lumturi.
The charges against Shuti include not only the murder but also causing grievous bodily harm to a second victim, engaging in violent disorder, and being in possession of a knife. His appearance in custody at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on the same day marked the beginning of legal proceedings. Shuti is scheduled for his next appearance at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, October 24.
