A man has been sentenced to 16 months in prison for a series of burglaries targeting restaurants in the City of London and for using stolen bank cards.
John O’Brian, 28, from Slough, was convicted of breaking into establishments at Leadenhall Market and Gracechurch Street. The thefts included personal belongings and financial items, which O’Brian later used fraudulently.
Criminal Behaviour Order Issued
In addition to the custodial sentence, O’Brian was handed a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO), which bans him from entering the City of London for five years. The CBO is designed to deter future offences and protect businesses in the area.
