In a harrowing incident that shook the community of Hailsham, a man has been sentenced for his role in a robbery targeting an elderly resident in his home. Joshua McKenzie, 41, hailing from Orchard Grove, Penge, was part of a group of four individuals who forcibly entered a property on Ersham Road.
The victim, a man in his 80s, endured a terrifying ordeal as he was threatened for money and subjected to physical assault during the intrusion. Cash was unlawfully taken from the premises, leaving the elderly resident traumatized by the brazen attack.
