Officers Have Recovered Drugs Worth More Than £87,000 On The Street, Including Cannabis, Cocaine, And Ecstasy Tablets From A Property In Kent

A man has been charged with crimes following an investigation into drug dealing in Hoo.

Officers from Medway’s Community Policing Team executed a warrant at an address in Maple Road, Strood, on the morning of Tuesday, January 17, 2023, and arrested a man on suspicion of drug offences.

Officers also seized four mobile phones, 37 bags of cannabis, and drug paraphernalia while inside the house.

This is the team’s third warrant since September 2022 in response to reports of drug dealing in Hoo.

Officers have already arrested four men and one woman on suspicion of drug offences as part of the ongoing investigation. They have all been released under investigation while further investigations are conducted.

Officers have recovered drugs worth more than £87,000 on the street, including cannabis, cocaine, and ecstasy tablets. Prescription drugs such as Viagra and Diazepam, as well as more than £4,500 in cash, were also seized.

Charged

Tyreece St Pier, 19, of Maple Road, Strood, has been charged with possessing cannabis with the intent to supply.

He was charged on Tuesday, January 17th, and appeared in Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, January 18th, where he was remanded to appear in Maidstone Crown Court on Wednesday, February 15th, 2023.
