Hoo Drug Dealer Busted in Major Police Raid
A man has been charged following a crackdown on drug dealing in Hoo, Medway police revealed.
Police Raid in Strood Nabs Suspect
Medway’s Community Policing Team swooped on a property in Maple Road, Strood, on the morning of Tuesday, January 17, 2023. They arrested a man on suspicion of drug offences during the warrant.
Officers also seized four mobile phones, 37 bags of cannabis, and various drug paraphernalia from the house.
Ongoing Crackdown Yields Big Haul
This was the third police raid since September 2022 targeting drug dealing in the Hoo area. Four men and one woman have already been arrested and released under investigation as inquiries continue.
So far, police have confiscated drugs worth over £87,000 on the street, including cannabis, cocaine, and ecstasy tablets. They also recovered prescription drugs like Viagra and Diazepam, plus more than £4,500 in cash.
Tyreece St Pier Charged Over Cannabis Supply
Tyreece St Pier, 19, of Maple Road, Strood, faces charges of possessing cannabis with intent to supply. He was charged on the day of the raid and appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court the next day, Wednesday, January 18.
St Pier has been remanded and is due in Maidstone Crown Court on Wednesday, February 15, 2023.
