Police rushed to the scene at around 5:03pm after reports of gunfire. They found a man with a serious gunshot wound to his abdomen. Paramedics treated him on site before racing him to hospital.
“At approximately 1703 this evening we received a call stating a male had been shot in a park area close to the location of The High Road, N11. Police have located a male victim who has an injury to his abdomen and has now been conveyed to hospital by LAS. A crime scene is in place and the local community can expect an increased policing presence this evening.
