Police Appeal After Disturbance and Assaults in Gravesend

Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a disturbance in Gravesend that left three people injured late on Friday, 24 January 2025.

The incident occurred at 11:46pm on New Road, near the junction with Princes Street, where an altercation reportedly broke out between two groups of people.

Victims and Arrests

Two men and a woman sustained facial injuries during the incident. The victims were treated at a local hospital and later discharged.

Kent Police attended the scene, and a short time later, three individuals were arrested in connection with the incident:

  • An 18-year-old man on suspicion of assault
  • A 21-year-old man on suspicion of a public order offence
  • A 17-year-old girl on suspicion of assault and a public order offence

All three suspects have since been bailed pending further investigation.

Detectives are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward, particularly those who may have dashcam or mobile phone footage from the area at the time.
