Woman Assaulted in Crawley Evening Attack
Crawley Police are hunting witnesses after a woman was attacked on the evening of Friday 24 February. The assault took place around 9.15pm near Hudson Road or Hawth Avenue. The victim suffered a head injury during the shocking incident.
Police Appeal for CCTV and Eyewitnesses
Officers want anyone who saw the attack or has footage from doorbell, dash cams, or CCTV to come forward. They hope any video evidence will help catch the culprit.
Suspect Known to Victim, 51-Year-Old Man Arrested
PC Gemma Sutton from the Crawley Safeguarding Investigation Unit revealed the victim knew their attacker. She added the assault is not linked to other crimes in the area.
A 51-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. The investigation continues, and police urge anyone with information to contact them immediately.
