Man Charged Over String of Burglaries and Car Thefts in Southampton

Police have charged 21-year-old Odin Osman from Paignton Road, Southampton, with multiple burglaries and stealing vehicles without consent.

Ram-raids and Burglaries Rock Local Businesses

  • Osman is accused of aggravated taking of a Nissan Qashqai during a burglary at a home on Lower Swanwick Road between June 17 and 18.
  • On June 19, he allegedly rammed the front of La Ora on St Lukes Close, Hedge End, stealing an iPhone and cash.
  • The same day, Osman is charged with ramming a Nissan Qashqai into the Co-op on Station Road, Netley Abbey, and stealing a large haul of cigarettes.
  • He is also accused of attempting a ram-raid at the Co-op on Spring Road, Southampton.

Vehicle Theft Continues Into July

Between July 8 and 9, Osman allegedly burgled a home on Aspen Close, taking a Volkswagen Golf without consent.

Osman is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on July 11 to face the charges.
