Drugs and Lamb Chaos on Glasgow’s M74: Police Make Bizarre Bust
£10k of Class A Drugs Found with Unlikely Passenger
Police in Glasgow made a jaw-dropping find on Saturday during a routine stop on the M74. Inside the car, officers uncovered £10,000 worth of Class A drugs, including heroin and cocaine. But the real shocker? A live lamb was chilling in the backseat.
Three Arrested After Police Dog Sniffs Out the Stash
The discovery happened at around 6:10pm. Two men aged 52 and 53, plus a 38-year-old woman, were arrested and charged with drug offences. A separate arrest came shortly after, following a roadside cocaine hand-off.
Credit goes to PD Billy, the police sniffer dog, who signalled the presence of drugs inside the vehicle. Officers later shared a photo of the heroic canine on social media.
Lamb Adopted by Local Farmer as Investigation Continues
The bizarre twist? No one knows exactly why the lamb was in the car. Police confirmed the little sheep has now been adopted by a nearby farmer. Meanwhile, a probe is underway to figure out if the lamb was part of the drug-smuggling scheme or just an innocent bystander.
Questions Remain: Was the Lamb a Cover-Up or Just Bad Luck?
Was the lamb used to hide the drugs or dodge detection? Or was it simply caught in the crossfire? The strange case has left police baffled and the public scratching their heads.
