Sixteen Year Old boy Charged over Chingford Murder
Detectives investigating the fatal stabbing of a man in Chingford have charged a teenager with murder. A 16-year-old boy from Chingford was charged with the murder of 42-year-old Joseph Cullimore who was from Chingford. He will appear in custody at Thames Magistrates Court on Monday, 20 August. A 35-year-old woman has now been released pending further enquiries. The Homicide and Major Crime Command led by Detective Chief Inspector Gary Holmes are investigating and continue to appeal for information and witnesses. DCI Holmes said: “We want to hear from anyone who was in the area or within the immediate vicinity of the address to come forward. Equally anyone who was not there but has information on this incident is asked to contact investigators or Crimestoppers anonymously.” Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting CAD 0921/17 August or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
