Teen Held Over Chingford Stabbing Murder
A 16-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of 42-year-old Joseph Cullimore in Chingford. The fatal stabbing has shocked the local community.
The teenager is due to appear in custody at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 20 August. Meanwhile, a 35-year-old woman previously arrested has been released while inquiries continue.
Police Launch Murder Probe
Detective Chief Inspector Gary Holmes, leading the Homicide and Major Crime Command, urged witnesses to step forward. He said:
“We want to hear from anyone who was in or around the area at the time. Even if you weren’t there but have information, please come forward.”
