Detectives Hunt Key Witness in Red Hatchback
Detectives believe a driver of a red-coloured hatchback, who turned right out of Wakefield Road just before 9.34pm, may hold crucial information. An image of the vehicle has been released to encourage the driver to come forward.
Detective Constable Sam Rivers, Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “It’s now been 11 weeks since the crash, and the e-bike rider is still in hospital with serious injuries. We need to piece together exactly what happened.”
“We’re particularly keen to speak to the driver of the red hatchback. The photo isn’t perfect, but it should be enough to jog their memory and prompt them to reach out.”
“If you witnessed the collision or have any footage, it could make all the difference. No detail is too small.”
