M25 Clockwise Shut After Multi-Car Smash in Hertfordshire
The M25 is closed clockwise between J23 (South Mimms) and J25 (Waltham Cross) following a serious multi-vehicle crash. Emergency crews, including Essex and Herts Air Ambulance, rushed to the scene.
Anti-Clockwise Lanes Now Open
The anti-clockwise carriageway was blocked briefly while the Air Ambulance attended, but all lanes have now reopened.
Clockwise Traffic Told to Divert at J23
- Exit at J23 and follow the hollow triangle signs.
- Take the 5th exit at the roundabout onto the A1 towards London.
- Drive through Stirling Corner and Mill Hill Circus to Fiveways Corner.
- Bear left onto A1 and head to Henlys Corner.
- At Henlys Corner, bear left onto the A406 North Circular Road towards Wood Green.
- Continue on A406 towards Enfield.
- At Great Cambridge Junction, exit the roundabout and take the 1st exit onto the A10 towards Hertford.
- Follow the A10 and rejoin the M25 at J25.
Motorists are urged to follow diversion signs and expect delays.
