London has been gripped by bloodshed every day this week from Monday to Friday (October 6-10). The capital’s streets have seen a surge in knife attacks and gun violence, spreading fear from Streatham to Walthamstow.

Knife Violence Sparks Panic Across the City

  • Monday, uk/topic/streatham-hill/">Streatham Hill: A man in his 20s was stabbed outside Starbucks around 1pm. Treated at the scene, his injuries were thankfully non-life-threatening.
  • Monday Evening, West Drayton: A brawl erupted on Brandville Road involving men and teenage boys. Police found a man in his 20s stabbed and a 15-year-old boy with a head injury. Both taken to hospital with non-life-threatening wounds.
  • Tuesday, Kilburn: Just before 5.15pm, officers responded to reports of a stabbing near Kilburn High Street. A 15-year-old boy was injured and hospitalised with non-life-threatening wounds. He was also arrested for possession of an offensive weapon and remains in hospital.
  • Wednesday, Waterloo: At 7.40pm, a 25-year-old man was found injured in Waterloo Millennium Green. Initially thought to have life-changing injuries, his condition has since improved. No arrests made.

Gunfire and Armed Standoff Shake North London

  • Thursday, New Southgate: Police rushed to High Road after reports of gunshots just after 5pm. A 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition. An investigation is underway but no arrests so far.
  • Friday, Walthamstow: Armed officers responded to a man reportedly holding a firearm and making threats to kill at a Stow Crescent address around 10am. After tense negotiations lasting hours, police forced entry and discharged weapons. The man was hospitalised in a life-threatening condition.
