An 18-year-old, Sanchez Tate, has been found guilty of murdering Mohamed Abdi Noor, 21, in Kentish Town, north London. During his dying moments, Noor repeatedly named “Sanchez” as his attacker after being fatally stabbed on Tufnell Park Road on December 11, 2023.
The incident followed a dispute over a damaged motorbike. Tate, who lived on the same street as Noor, denied murder and claimed self-defence. A jury at the Old Bailey found Tate guilty, and he will be sentenced on November 21. Judge Mark Dennis KC awaits more information regarding Tate’s troubled past.
